Completely backup your infrastructure to object storage AKA S3 compatible and Azure all within Veeam Backup and Recovery! With Version 9.5 we can archive off older backups to the capacity tier which is incredible but still leaves a retention gap where local backups are not on the cloud leaving you to create another copy job to maintain the 3-2-1 rule. Now with the upcoming version 10, the option of a near-immediate copy of all data to the capacity tier is available via Cloud Tier Copy Mode.
The new Copy Mode is going to make things much simpler for all Veeam Backup Admins as you can still maintain a local repository safe in the knowledge that it is also backed up to cloud storage without having to use 3rd party storage gateways or clunky VTL solutions.
